Wire shifter prototyping

Did some ugly welding to measure up the wires for the new shifter. It amazed me how easy and smooth the shifting was, I can shift with my bare hands with the wires only!
I bought some cheap ball joints and it feels really tight despite the cheapy joints.

Controllers arrived!

It is not only batteries needed when converting a Prius to a plugin hybrid. Finally all parts from pluginsupply.com have arrived and now I can start the project for real!

It took quite a while to get the parts but they look very well assembled. Worth waiting for after all. :-)
